I am a junior high science teacher in the small town of Slave Lake, AB. I teach grades 8-9 currently but have taught all grades at the secondary level. I have taught in Nova Scotia, Kenya and Newfoundland. I am a mom to a 18 month old boy and know first hand about the pressure the pandemic can put on one’s life due to grief and trauma.
Additionally, I recently finished my masters of education in leadership and inclusive education. I’m currently on the wait list to be published for my thesis on the impacts of restorative practices on a rural secondary school. Welcome to the session!
